Why should balance training be incorporated into a fitness program?
Simply put, improved balance, proper posture and kinetic chain stability can all be achieved by balance training and those are three of the foundational principals of athletics. Additionally, clinical studies have shown that a consistent balance training regimen reduces the risk of injury injuries (specifically lower body joint injuries) in athletes in ground-based sports. Balance training takes many forms but why not make it fun, interesting and effective with an Indo Board?
Why are there so many different kinds of balance boards and balance trainers?
Balance training has gained in popularity over the years because of the many benefits involved in having a strong, stable body. In order to achieve stability one must learn to engage the core muscles that are responsible for the body’s balance and stability. Many devices have come and gone to help train balance but for 20 years, the Indo Board remains the gold standard in balance training for all levels of athletes and those simply interested in having a more stable body.
